Part of Thorndown's £9.5 million project to knock down the existing school and replace it with a new two storey building, ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a trace heating system to perform the duty of providing frost protection to the external heat pump pipework and kitchen AHU pipework.
Ercall Wood will be the third new Academy, when it opens in September 2015, in Telford & Wrekin Council's £200m Building Schools for the Future project. Here at this local school, ESH were contracted to design, supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to the LTHW copper pipework on the academy's roof. The system utilised ESH's type VC constant wattage heating tape.
Within FSD's 7000 square foot manufacturing plant, ESH were contracted to supply and install a frost protection trace heating system to skid mounted pipework.
For this retailing giant, ESH supplied and installed a constant wattage trace heating system to perform the duty of frost protecting pipework. The project was spilt into two areas:
- Extend a system previously installed by others. A short run of trace heating on copper pipe required extending and connected into the existing junction box.
- Also installation of a brand new heating circuit onto both ABS and steel pipework.
ESH supplied and installed a high temperature trace heating system to temperature maintain the Bitumen tank line pipework at +145ยบC. Type SC constant wattage heating tape was straight traced five times along the pipework length to achieve this high temperature.
Within Yorkshire's oldest brewery, ESH supplied and installed a trace heating system to provide temperature maintenance to over 230m of stainless steel pipework. The required temperature was +25°C and this was achieved by installing our type VC constant wattage heating cable.
For this project ESH supplied and installed a trace heating system to provide frost protection to the external CHW, LTHW, HRR & LSV pipework. The system was designed using our type FTB self regulating heating tape which was straight trace underneath the external pipework.
Our second large project here at the Wilton Centre saw ESH supply materials and labour to extend the existing trace heating circuits, relocate existing thermostats and install new circuits. The high temperature trace heating system needed to maintain the pipework temperature at +150°C all within a Zone 1 Gas Group llb, T3 Classification hazardous area.
Designed, supplied and install a trace heating system to perform the duty of temperature maintaining the hot water flow pipework at +55°C. To achieve this we installed our H2OWAT self regulating heating cable.
Here at this ultra modern coeducational academy, ESH designed, supplied materials and labour to provide a frost protection system to the steel sprinkler system pipework within a undercroft area.
