At this design, development and research centre of internal combustion engines and systems, ESH designed, supplied and installed a trace heating system to heat raise pipework, prior to gas being carried, from a minimum ambient temperature of +18°C up to +47°C. The system was designed using type SC constant wattage heating tape.
