St Ambrose Barlow RC High School, Manchester
Part of the Building Schools for the Future programme (BSF), this 1000 pupil high school and college required some trace heating work completed before it re-opens its doors in September. ESH were contracted to supply and install two trace heating systems to perform the following duties:
- Provide frost protection to the schools BCWS pipework
- Temperature maintenance of the DHWS flow and return pipework at +55°C

Kingsdown Crematorium, Swindon
ESH designed, supplied and installed a trace heating system to temperature maintain a hopper at +100°C. Mineral insulated heating tape was fixed to the body of the hopper in order to achieve the desired temperature.

Operating Theatres, Northern General Hospital
Our second project here at this Sheffield based hospital saw ESH design, supply and install two separate trace heating systems:
- The first system was designed using our type FTB self limiting heating tape to provide frost protection to external chilled pipework
- The second frost protection system on the HTG pipework was Raychem specified, 70m of Raychem FS-A-2X heating tape was supplied and installed

Halstead Bio-Waste
Designed, supplied and installed a frost protection trace heating system to two runs of metal pipework containing cold water. One run of pipework was leading to the turbo dissolvers, the other to the heat exchangers. Type FBTBOJ self regulating heating cable was installed throughout.
