This £10 million UTC will be a new centre of excellence for Biomedical and Environmental Science and Technology for 14 to 19 year olds in the Cambridge area. ESH were contracted to design, supply and install two trace heating systems to perform the following duties:

• To maintain domestic hot water pipework at temperatures of up to 55°C

• To provide frost protection to the external water pipework
